Roadside America, by "roads" scholar John Margolies, is another great book from Taschen. His color saturated photos capture the magic and charm of vintage roadside architecture and signage.

Mixed Tapes...

C-60's, Metal, Chrome, Extended Play, Lo-Noise- this archive of vintage cassette tapes and their graphics has them all.

The surreal paintings and collages by the late Spanish artist Antonio Saura recently caught my eye. His bullfighting series in particular reminded me of Dr Lakra, a contemporary artist who also paints on printed ephemera.
