I've become a big fan of artist Carol Wax's mezzotints since first stumbling on (and purchasing a piece of) her work during a trip to New Orleans @ the Stone+Press Gallery.

No Bull...
The surreal paintings and collages by the late Spanish artist Antonio Saura recently caught my eye. His bullfighting series in particular reminded me of Dr Lakra, a contemporary artist who also paints on printed ephemera.
Click here, for more of Saura's work, including paintings, illustrations and sculpture.
