Anyway, it had California plates (taped inside the rear window) so maybe, if it makes it back, one day it'll end up in one of these incredible David Buckingham scrap metal sculptures.

Bent Metal...
For a number of reasons- including the"Hard Workin' Bob" tag, this parked car caught my eye at my sister-in-law's wedding reception this weekend (congrats Tava and Ted). I love the combination of bent steel, graffiti, stickers, and the blue and red paint pattern. In a way the car kind of looks like someone's low budget take on a BMW art car.

Tilted Photos...
These photos by Paul Vanzella caught my attention awhile ago. The images alone are great, but the use of a photographic technique known as tilt/shift adds another layer of coolness to them. Here's a site that shows how to emulate the technique with Photoshop.

Friends Pneumatic...
I've always liked the idea and use of pneumatic tube systems to transport things. There's something about the lo-tech air powered technology zipping information back and forth that endears them to me. Anyway, they are also one of the many reasons that I like this Hula Hoop segment from the Hudsucker Proxy so much.
Here's one other movie clip where the pneumatic tube steals the scene : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YLEJbFKTyQI

Modern Living Room
Some truly unique pieces of furniture that are suitable for the living room or gallery space. The cheese grater screen and the Richard Prince nurse chair are 2 of my favorites. See more here.

Revamped...
I'll be launching my Bad Vamp page on Monday(6/15)- there will be a link to it on the bob scott dot com home page (or click here.) The page will include links to most of the retro femme fatale inspired images from the series. Many of these have been 'revamped' to reflect a grittier attitude and slightly rougher edge than before. Take a look.
