Enchanted Structures...
Inspired by nature, the Vienna Succession and Egon Schiele, Austrian artist and architect Friedensreich Hundertwasser rejected the 'straight line, sterile architecture' of the times and instead imagined enchanting and colorful biomorphic buildings. A few samples are posted above.

Take-Off...
I dug out these airline graphics from the bottom of a flat file drawer. Could this decal for Mohawk Jets be the work of the creative team at Sterling Cooper Draper Price?? While they may not have TWA as a client they at least landed the smaller Mohawk Airlines account last week- thanks to Roger. Here's a Mohawk magazine ad from the 60's.

Easter Greetings...
My grandparents came from Czechoslovakia and these vintage Czech Easter postcards were in a pile of cards that my aunt had saved and gave to me years ago.

Book Impressions...
A few printed and stamped book covers from my shelves. Some of these cover graphics were pleasant surprises that had been hidden under tattered dust jackets. Click here to view a short video of a book being made using traditional methods.
