Pin Up Art...

Above are some images from an old Pin the Tail on the Donkey game I picked up years ago. Unfortunately the game inside, although never used, is falling to pieces due to the combination of age and cheap paper. One of my favorite parts of the packaging is the look, with raised eyebrow no less, that the donkey appears to be giving the shouting kid over on the left.

Cutting Images...

Above are samples of  collage, and a few other creations, by the talented Jim Heimann. I've been a fan of his work, and inspired by his versatility- which includes: illustrator, designer, painter, author ( California Crazy is an all time favorite, and the first of many books by Jim have found their way to my bookshelves), historian, and editor- since first discovering his early collage illustrations for Papermoon Graphics.

Ping and Pong...

I've always liked ping-pong. One of the reasons might be that semi-meditative state you can get from simply hitting the ball back and forth. Anyway, playing again at the beach this year was definitely one of the high points.
