Italian artist Mimmo Rotella created many of his expressive and vibrant decollages like the ones above using movie posters and advertisements from the 1950's. These 'torn poster' works, part of an art movement called Nouveau Réalisme , remind me of some of the work being done by contemporary street artists like Bast.
